The snow and ice have meant that all our farmer's attention is needed to care for our animals and for that reason we will not be opening Mrs Dowsons Farm this weekend. We are really sorry to disappoint anyone! If you have booked tickets online they are open-ended tickets and may be used any other day in 2018. We are now scheduled to open on 10th March. We are sorry to disappoint anyone who was planning to visit us but we really feel it is the wisest choice given the continuing bad weather.
This is not a decision we as a family have taken lightly, our can do farmer attitude means we don't give up, however with the safety of our visitors and staff we feel it is the only choice.
Currently all the farmers are working around the clock to make sure our animals are warm and well fed. We are hoping to re-open on 10th March 2018 for Weekends, School and Bank Holidays.
