VISIT THE
BIG
BARN

Visits to farms and contact with livestock helps to show people how their food is produced. Mrs Dowsons educates the public about what actually happens on modern farms and is a highly enjoyable day out; thousands of families and students explore the farm each year.
Farm visits provide your group with information about the importance of animal welfare and maintaining the countryside. School trips allow pupils to have a variety of high-quality learning experiences outside the classroom, providing them with invaluable information about careers in agriculture and allowing them to make informed career choices.
Why are farm visits important?
