Seasonal Food and Beverage Team Leader 

Mrs Dowsons Farm Park –has a position available to help with the day to day running of the café at this well known award winning farm attraction. Role would suit candidates from busy hospitality, events or attractions backgrounds.

Each year, we have plenty of exciting seasonal opportunities within our Farm Park team, to undertake a variety of tasks such as working in our gift shops, welcoming guests, or serving food and drinks to our families and visitors. No two days will be the same!

The Role

.Your duties will include:

• Motivating, supporting, your cafe team to deliver exceptional customer service 

• Striving to always do better for your guests 

• Encouraging your guests to provide their valued feedback

• Helping your team to make sure the Cafe stays clean, safe and legally compliant

You will need

• Some practical work experience in Cafes

• Experience leading a small team 

• To be warm and engaging both with your team and your customers 

• To have a positive attitude with a passion for customer service 

• The ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• To be an excellent communicator you must be out going and customer focused

• Be capable of leading a weekend team with the necessary training

• Have a polite, friendly and approachable manner

• Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude

• Demonstrates high energy, even when under pressure

• Works on own initiative

This will be a seasonal position with a need to have a flexible approach to working weekends, school holidays and Bank Holidays.

This will be 24 hours per week offering above minimum wage for the right candidate

​

Position Requirements

​

Quite simply, you'll be working in our fast-moving, high energy environment and we’re looking for a genuine smile plus an ability to connect with visitors and make them feel valued. This post is for those able to work weekends and school holidays, starting before 9 am and being able to work up to 7 pm, as part of a rota.

Position Attributes

​

To join us as a Team Member you’ll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with visitors. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service at a diverse range of tasks. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart, clean and approachable.
