Farm Park Team

This is a key role working as part of our Farm Park Team and is central to our visitor’s experience at the farm. The team care for all the animals working with a range of diverse animals.  

​

As a Farm Team Member you will: 

•    Interact with visitors of all ages including children, families and other audiences.  
•    Care for animals by, cleaning, feeding and enrichment
•    Manage visitor experiences within the farm park
•    Deliver content of interesting facts and information about the farm animals.

​

Position Requirements

​

Quite simply, you'll be working in our fast-moving, high-energy environment and we’re looking for a genuine smile plus an ability to connect with visitors and make them feel valued. This post is for those able to work weekends and school holidays, starting before 9 am and being able to work up to 7 pm, as part of a rota.

Position Attributes

​

To join us as a Team Member you’ll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with visitors. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service at a diverse range of tasks. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart, clean and approachable.
