We are currently recruiting for performers to join us at Lancashire's Favourite Farm, Mrs Dowsons Farm Park. 

​

Mrs Dowsons calendar is jam-packed with events all throughout the year and we need energetic entertainers to bring them to life. 

​

Position Requirements

​

 Mrs Dowsons is looking for triple-threat performers to bring our magical events to life, delivering exciting, engaging, and memorable performances. 

Actors will need to be able to:
​

• Learning multiple roles 

• swap between characters during the day

• Work outdoors during all weather

• keep in character at all times

• interact and improvise with children

• Experience working in a customer-facing role 

• Excellent communication skills

• The ability to work both in a team and alone

• The ability to command a room

Position Attributes

​

To join us as an Entertainment Performer you’ll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with visitors. Friendly, courteous and helpful behavior will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team or performing alone. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high-performance standards. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst remaining in character for extended periods of time is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart, clean and approachable.
