Our Work Experience Programme is aimed at full-time students looking for the skills and passion to become the next generation of farmers and veterinary workers. Joining the team at the farm for either five or ten days, you'll gain valuable work experience and learn new skills that will last you a lifetime. These include planning and organisation, communication, confidence with dealing with animals , decision-making and team work. It's also a great opportunity to see a real working farm.

As a busy working farm we are unable to offer places for work experience to anyone under 16.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
This programme is aimed at EMS students and those looking at a career working with animals. We look for enthusiasm, dedication and a professional attitude. You must also be committed to getting the best from the experience. You don't have to have ambitions to work within the farm - this experience will boost any CV.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1
Explore the website and discover more about the farm, our story and our values, and what we have to offer.
Step 2
Complete our online form (you'll need the email address of your Work Experience Coordinator from College or University - make sure to contact them first, for their permission to share these details).
Step 3
If we like what we read, we'll invite you to the farm for a 15 minute interview. If successful, we'll offer you a placement.
