Date & Time
25th July 2020
Mrs Dowsons Farm Park
We are soooo EXCITED to announce our socially distanced wild camping event at the farm!
We know things are going to feel a bit different, so we've put together some information for you to explore before you book and understand what changes we've made to help keep you safe.
Your ticket price includes:
Tent pitch for 1 night (Saturday night from 5 pm)
Entrance to the farm park all day Saturday and Sunday
BBQ meal on Saturday evening (from 6 pm)
Behind the Scenes farmer talks
Campfire from 7.30 pm
Farmhouse cooked breakfast sandwiches, juice, tea & coffee Sunday morning 7 am - 9 am
During the rest of the evening, you can keep warm by the campfire, take part in our family pub quiz or simply sit and star gaze! Licensed bar available, closes at 10.30 pm
Please note that this is a FAMILY EVENT. Adults may come only if accompanied by children. We encourage responsible drinking, therefore no alcohol is to be brought on to the campsite other than from the licensed bar. There are toilet facilities available however we do not have shower facilities.
The farm is huge and social distancing is easy, but we have also...
Reduced pitches to increase distances between tents and to maintain distancing in the outdoor seating area during the evening and at breakfast in the restaurant.
Book your hog roast time and breakfast time on arrival to prevent queues.
Extra sanitisation of toilets throughout the weekend.
Significantly reduced visitor numbers on site.
Extra hand sanitising points.
One way systems, in more confined animal areas.
Breakfast will open at 7am on Sunday morning for breakfast. (Campers Breakfast served 7.00am-9.00am)
Please note this is a wild camping experience in a grass field for one night with limited facilities and therefore due to ground conditions caravans, large motor homes and trailer tents are not suitable.
At payment, you will be able to provide information such as dietary requirements. We will always endeavour to site people where requested, but can not guarantee it.
Please don't visit...
if you are in a high risk category, are self-isolating or if you or anyone you've been in contact with has symptoms of coronavirus. We'll look forward to welcoming you to the farm but for now, it's not worth the risk
We've limited numbers to avoid queues and large gatherings
Please don't touch
We'll be cleaning much more regularly than normal but please try to avoid touching fences, windows, signs and play areas. Some areas may not be open.
Stay 2m Apart
Please keep your distance from other campers outside your household. We'll be closing confined indoor spaces and only offering take away foods to make this easier. We're putting in place safe queueing systems at our main entrance, toilets and food coffee shop to keep you safe.
